In 2010 was diagnosed an extremely rare, incipient, bilaterallaryngeal paralysis at Basko, which unfortunately was inoperable. Basko should upset not know what was to be avoided, but not always. Especially when he saw the rabbits in our gyarden or the adjoining forest. Initially he calmed down from the indicated respiratory distress again very quickly and had a very high quality of life, as his health was otherwise in top shape. He could just not right to take on the training field, or leave him unattended in the garden playing, as, even in old age still showed a very high willingness to work and train.
Length vacations (Italy, France) were no problem for him. In advanced stages, however, prolonged the recovery sequences.
Taken together with a very sultry day weather finally led to a collapse of the lungs, from which he could'nt recover on his own. Even after several hours of treatment by the vet was no hope, and we had to let him go out of his misery. Throug his unique character, we often think of him. He will remain for ever in our hearts.
