The training with our dogs is based up to:
- Recognize the characteristics of our dog,
- Analysis of these characteristics, associated structure possibilities,
- Promotion of desired characteristics,
- Block unwanted characteristics.
We rely on scientifically recognized learning ways of animals and over years a thought out concept in the basic structure.
With over 35 years experience in the dog training Armin saw many things, practiced himself, which did not lead to actually desired success. In the 80's no dog goes joyfully and attentively nearly beside his handler, the most only correctly. Like so often, the people knew it at that time not better. In this time some handler thought about, how to teach a dog to show the work joyfully. That was the time, where many dogs joyfully and attentively, but partly performed their work much incorrect.
At the end of the 80's, at the beginning of the 90's some handlers managed to perform happy working dogs on big competitions. Here, however, lacked the correctness of the positions, but this was not criticized by the judges so strong. It was the time when people saw a happy working dog rather than a listless behavior. At the end of the 90's, dogs were presented that seemed to be happy and working properly with their handlers. The ratings by the judges were correspondingly high. Instructors with corresponding ambitions had to question their training methods and not infrequently change them. A decade later, with the spread of knowledge, nearly all dogs showed a big motivation in correct positioning and practice execution.
But here, too, experienced dogs that showed a false motiviation. And even today, we still see many dogs showing pacifying gestures, stress, restlessness and other undesirable symptoms at work in all departments. Unfortunately, such behavior is often confused by many people with drive. But the experienced judges or handlers also observes and analyzes the body language of the dog.
Only a few, good handlers are able to train their dogs in a way that we look full esteem.
These dog handlers not only have a good dog, or just the right thing for the cause. They have been practicing this sport for a long time and have the right attitude towards the animal and training.
In almost all cases these professionals have not taken their knowledge and skills from books or videos.By refinement of training and extension of the knowledge conditions today again some few good handlers are in the situation to train their dogs in such a way, that looks very gladly. Our full respect. These handlers do not only have simply a good dog, or have the "right hand" for these things, they operate this sport already for a very long time. This professionals don't have their knowledge from books or from videos. They have their abilities by thinking about it very intensively, asking or looking to other "professionals", in order then, under their guidance understand themselves, to even practice.
